There I was, roasting in the Gulf Coast Sun…
I was working with my friend who had to
downsize his surveying company, due to the BP spill-
Big contract, Gone.
We were out on a survey site, and I left my long
sleeve shirt, but I had my boonie hat, and it was
hot, broad sunlight, and me with no cover for my arms.
Well, I went home, slathered on the aloe vera,
and went to sleep. The next day, long sleeves and a
Marsh Buggy. Air Boat? You cannot plow down trees
with an air boat, but a marsh buggy, its like a light
(as in, that it floats), aluminum personnel carrier.
They are the best thing that ever happened to a tallow
tree.

I am dropped off on the the concrete foundation that I am
to clear off so that we may have a good line of sight,
and I guess I found some poison Ivy, because the next day,
my arms and hands were covered, and as it began to fade,
IT DID NOT. I had also eaten a bunch of almonds that day,
as granola bars and almonds were the menu for the day.
The dishidrotic eczema was back, with a vengeance. I was
awakened by my forearms itching like a hound with a colony
of fleas.
The skin on my wrists was thickening, and itching, and I was
scratching, and cussing… I took some Benadryl,
just to stop the itching. I was concerned about the
drive to work, but I got a call that I needed to
come in an hour later. I wish that I had learned about THIS
a lot sooner, I would have been able to get rid of the
Candida Albicans, I would have been able to get
over the poison ivy much sooner, and not have
the eczema show up…

SO WHAT?
SO this…

“Sir, you are going to have to live with this…”
Is this a
Yeast Infection?
“Sir, you have what we call ‘Dishidrotic Eczema’”.
“What in tarnation is that?”
“Your skin dries out and then forms blisters, and then you get what you have now.”
“Doc, the order of operations in not like that, my skin blisters, delaminates the skin layers,
and then the delaminated skin dries up, gets crusty, and I look like I have a cross between the Mange and Hansen’s. What causes it?”
“It dries out first, then blisters.”
“I watched it pretty close, after all, they are my hands, and I use them at least twice a day, OK, what causes it?”
“We don’t know.”
“What’s in the blister? It is a whitish, cloudy fluid…”
“Just Lymph…”
“Is it a fungus?”
“NO.”
“And you don’t know what the cause is?”
“Nope.”
“(then why am I here?) OK, give me the cortisone shot, and I will head out… (and talk to the people who have some offer of hope)”
So there it is, not much hope, is there?
Or is there?
Everywhere I turned, it seemed like every
other person who dealt with health or nutrition thought
it was linked to yeast or fungus.
So, I started looking into eating and supplementing
my diet to minimize yeast and fungus.
Lo and behold, my hands and feet started looking better!
I cut back the sugars, cut out soft drinks, cut out the white breads,
ate a spoon full of oregano leaves about twice a day,
ate simple, basic, foods, and my hands were looking good again!
But there is more to this story…
